St. Bernard ‘Shop Small Week’ Returns for Third Year

St. Bernard’s ‘Shop Small Week’ Begins with a Reception at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Cafe Aquarius, 2101 Paris Road.

CHALMETTE – Shop Small Week in St. Bernard begins on Nov. 30, 2019 and lasts through the following Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019. The St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation (SBEDF) has announced the return of the St. Bernard Shop Small Passport, a shopper incentive program that encourages shoppers to keep their purchases local this holiday season.

“As we track the impact of our passport program, we witness firsthand how shopping local can make an immense difference to our local retail community,” explains Andrew Jacques, SBEDF Executive Director. “With more retailers and more events scheduled in 2019, we are looking forward to the most effective Shop Small Week yet in St. Bernard Parish.”

Everyone is invited to join in shopping at participating St. Bernard businesses during the annual week-long Shop Small campaign. The week’s festivities start on Small Business Saturday, November 30, 2019, with the 2019 Shop Small Kickoff Breakfast at Café Aquarius located at 2101 Paris Road in Chalmette.  From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., shoppers can stop by for breakfast, enjoy a complimentary mimosa and grab a Shop Small swag bag full of coupons and promotional items from Shop Small businesses.
