St. Bernard Chamber To Host Breakfast With U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy

CHALMETTE, LA – The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce will host the St. Bernard Chamber Breakfast with featured speaker U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in the 2nd floor conference room of the St. Bernard Port, Harbor, and Terminal District, 200 Marlin Dr., in Chalmette, LA, from 7:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.

         St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce members, regional professionals, and public officials will be in attendance.

         Dr. Cassidy grew up in Baton Rouge, LA, and attended Louisiana State University for undergraduate and Medical School. Cassidy has been instrumental in key private-public partnerships within the medical community including co-founding the Greater Baton Rouge Community Clinic, St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce reps said.

         Cassidy has a lengthy record of public service including his appointment to the Louisiana State Senate and U.S. House of Representatives before being elected in 2014 to the U.S. Senate. He currently serves on the Health Educations Labor & Pensions, Energy and Natural Resources Appropriations, Veterans Affairs, and Joint Economic Committees.

         Admission is open to the public; $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Chamber Members.
