NEW ORLEANS – Melissa Warren, CCIM, of SRSA Commercial Real Estate represented the seller in the $10.1 million sale of the Canal Housing Portfolio, which contained 69 properties and 130 units in New Orleans.
Warren joined SRSA Commercial Real Estate in 2010 and has provided real estate advisory services for clients since 2001.
Warren focuses on office, industrial and retail sales and leasing as well as providing clients with the services of site selection and tenant representation.
On behalf of clients, Warren negotiates purchase and lease contract and provides the services of investment, market and financial analysis. She coordinates transaction due diligence, site selection services and assists clients with planning and zoning matters. Additionally, Warren serves as the leasing agent for East Jefferson General Hospital and represents Whitney/ Hancock Bank in the disposition of distressed commercial assets.
Prior to joining SRSA, Warren was a senior real estate advisor for Grubb & Ellis/ Sawyer Commercial in Gulfport, MS. In 2005 and 2006, Warren was awarded the Top Producer Ruby Award by the Gulf Coast Association of Realtors (GCAR) for completing the largest number of commercial transactions on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In 2010, she was inducted into GCAR's Top Producer Round Table for lifetime achievement.
Warren graduated from Mississippi State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. In 2006, she was designated a Certified Commercial Investment Member upon successfully passing the comprehensive final exam for materials covered in CI 101-CI 104 and passing the CCIM Institute's panel judgment for the portfolio of qualifying industry experience.
