NEW ORLEANS – For drivers, finding a parking spot near the Mercedes-Benz Superdome before a Saints game can be a competitive sport. SpotHero said their parking experts have drivers covered.
SpotHero is an on-demand parking app that claims to give drivers the power to reserve parking at up to 50% off at conveniently located garages, lots and valets.
Through SpotHero, you can reserve Mercedes-Benz Superdome parking ahead of time, online or on the go, using the free SpotHero iPhone app or Android app, and avoid the endless circling.
The company said they are the Orbitz of parking spots, and connect drivers and their cars to parking operators and their unused inventory. By bringing operators’ unused inventory to drivers, SpotHero said they created a successful parking platform service in multiple markets across the country.
Founded in 2011 by Mark Lawrence, Jeremy Smith and Larry Kiss, the company is headquartered in Chicago and has offices in New York City.
Since graduating from Excelerate Labs (now Techstars Chicago) in the summer of 2012, SpotHero has raised $7 million and expanded to 11 cities.
