NEW ORLEANS — On May 9, Spirit Airlines will launch the only nonstop flight from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The flight will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
“It will soon be easier than ever for New Orleans travelers to escape to the island of enchantment with Spirit’s launch of the only nonstop flight from MSY to San Juan,” said John Kirby, vice president of network planning at Spirit Airlines. “We’re excited to connect the two cities with our low fares that give MSY travelers ‘more go’ to great vacation destinations, just in time for the summer travel season.”
The new routes will increase Spirit’s MSY service to 16 nonstop destinations.
