Incredibowl: A New Team Building Event!
The Jefferson Chamber introduced a new teambuilding event in 2019! The Incredibowl Tournament, presented by Zito Companies and held on August 28 at Rock N’ Bowl, featured an evening of fun, fellowship and friendly competition. Business teams of five competed in a bowling tournament for fame, bragging rights and prizes. Spectator passes were available for anyone to join in on the fun. The Incredibowl encouraged people to get out of the summer heat to enjoy premium food, bar and music all while getting to know their team! Congratulations to ASI Federal Credit Union, 1st Place; Hancock Whitney, 2nd Place; and Adams and Reese, 3rd Place!

Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting, presented by Ochsner Health System, was held on February 7 at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport Hotel and featured a keynote panel focused on education in Jefferson Parish and statewide. The panel featured Dr. Cade Brumley, Jefferson Parish Superintendent of Education, and John White, Louisiana State Superintendent of Education, and was moderated by Carrie Monica of Stand Louisiana. New board members were inducted, and 2018 Board Chairman, Nick Karl, passed the gavel to 2019 Board Chairman, Ryan Daul.

Black & Gold Gala
Held on March 29 at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center on the turf of the New Orleans Saints practice field, The Black & Gold Gala: A Masquerade Affair, presented by Ochsner Health System, featured a performance by Dat Band, a silent auction, casino games, champagne trailer, punch wall and more! The Gala offered an opportunity to socialize with Jefferson Parish’s top business leaders, community activists and elected officials.

Tour de Jefferson & LiveWell Fin du Tour
After 2 years on the East Bank, the Tour de Jefferson, presented by Laitram, returned to the West Bank and was held at Parc des Familles on October 20. Riders chose from 3 routes and ended back at the park for the LiveWell Fin du Tour, which featured food and drink, live music, and vendors. In partnership with the LiveWell Jefferson campaign, the ride celebrated the quality of life and healthy initiatives of the parish.

 

Crawfish Boil
Hosted on May 17, outside of the Jefferson Chamber’s office building, the 21st Annual Crawfish Boil, presented by Cox Louisiana, served as a valuable opportunity for guests to connect with small and large business professionals, community leaders and elected officials. In company shirts with business cards in hand, attendees were treated to more than 2,000 pounds of crawfish and Cajun cuisine, drinks, desserts, games and a photo booth!

 

Golf Classic
Thirty-one teams of golfers enjoyed a sunny day on the links of TPC Louisiana at the Golf Classic, presented by OnPath Federal Credit Union, on November 13. Food and drinks were provided along the course to offer a leisure day of networking with clients and colleagues. Golfers were treated to a lunch buffet at the clubhouse after the tournament. Congratulations to Chris’ Paving, 1st Place, OUTFRONT Media, 2nd Place; and Fidelity Bank, 3rd Place!
