NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans-based marketing and public relations firm the Spears Group received 13 total awards, including its third Silver Anvil in four years, from the New Orleans chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at the 2019 Fleurish Awards on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Pythian Market. Spears was presented with a Silver Anvil, the industry’s highest honor recognizing outstanding strategic public relations programs, for its Fix the Mix campaign on behalf of the Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance (GNOHA).
“One of the most significant recommendations out of the HousingNOLA planning process was the Smart Housing Mix, and in light of our city’s severe affordable housing crisis, its implementation was and still is imperative for New Orleans’ future,” said HousingNOLA Executive Director Andreanecia Morris. “With work this important, we immediately enlisted Spears Group, not only for their experience and proven track record with integrated marketing, but as the only firm we entrusted to embody our mission and make it their own.”
In addition to the Silver Anvil, Spears Group also received eight Awards of Excellence and three Awards of Merit for the following submissions:
