SOUTHWEST ADDS NONSTOP SERVICE FROM NEW ORLEANS TO SAN ANTONIO

New Flights to Start March 2015

(NEW ORLEANS, LA) – The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is pleased to announce that Southwest Airlines will begin daily non-stop service to San Antonio from New Orleans on April 7, 2015 aboard their 143 seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Service will be available for sale mid to late October 2014.
 
Leading up to the daily service, Southwest will offer Saturday only flights during March 2015 and these flights are currently open for reservations. Saturday flights will depart New Orleans at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in San Antonio at 10:15 a.m. The San Antonio departure will be at 7:15 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 8:45 a.m. Southwest had previously announced limited direct service to San Antonio for the 2014 Thanksgiving holiday season.
 
Additionally, flights to Milwaukee on Southwest Airlines will return to daily service beginning in March 2015. The scheduled addition of San Antonio to Southwest’s route schedule will increase the total number of Armstrong International’s non-stop destinations to the pre-Katrina level of 42
