Son of a Saint Welcomes New Members to Board of Directors

NEW ORLEANS — Pete November and Shane Loper have joined the board of directors of Son of a Saint, a 501c3 youth development nonprofit.

November serves as the CEO of Ochsner Health, a not-for-profit academic health system and the state’s largest private employer. He was named CEO in 2022 after serving in numerous senior leadership positions within the organization since 2012. 

Loper recently assumed the title of president of Hancock Whitney Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hancock Whitney Corporation. He also retains his senior executive corporate role at HWC, where he is responsible for general banking execution, revenue generation, business strategy, and corporate services directly supporting revenue generation.

Son of a Saint’s board of directors is chaired by Jones Walker LLP Managing Partner Bill Hines and has 19 voting members. 

Son of a Saint is dedicated to transforming the lives of fatherless boys across Greater New Orleans through mentorship, education, life skills support, and more. The youth development nonprofit supports young people between the ages of 10 and 21, providing mentorship, education, mental health services, travel experiences and internship and career-development opportunities. It serves 350 youth across Greater New Orleans, including its cohort of more than 200 full-time mentees, as well as its mentee alumni, and additional tuition scholarship recipients via its Son of a Saint Scholars program.
