NEW ORLEANS – The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will welcome an estimated 15,000 HR professionals, recruiters and business leaders to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO), Halls D-J, from Sunday, June 18 – Wednesday, June 21, for the 2017 SHRM Conference and Exposition.
Event organizers said this is the No. 1 conference for HR professionals, where attendees will have the opportunity to engage with more than 200 topic experts over four days of meetings, educational sessions and exhibits.
SHRM is the world's largest HR professional society, representing 285,000 members in more than 165 countries. For nearly seven decades, the society has been the leading provider of resources serving the needs of HR professionals and advancing the practice of human resource management. SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and subsidiary offices in China, India and United Arab Emirates.
SHRM last held their annual conference in New Orleans in 2009. This year’s meeting is projected to have an economic impact of more than $17 million.
