Smoothie King Introduces Franchise Incentive For New Orleans' First Responders

NEW ORLEANS – In an effort to provide New Orleans first responders with business ownership opportunities that allow them to continue to serve their communities, global smoothie franchise Smoothie King announced its plans to expand the brand’s presence in New Orleans, through its exclusive franchise incentive program.

         Designed specifically for New Orleans’s full-time police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians who have completed at least 10 consecutive years of service, Smoothie King’s First Responder Initiative program allows qualified candidates to receive a 20 percent discount on their initial franchise fee. While Smoothie King and other franchises have long offered incentives to military veterans through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program, the First Responders Initiative breaks new industry ground.
