NEW ORLEANS –On Thursday, Oct. 24, Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects announced the recent hire of James Van Horn, AIA, NCARB to their award winning Healthcare Design Studio.
Van Horn earned a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University, followed by a Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology. He spent the last four years in the Denver office of global design firm Perkins+Will, specializing in professional sports arenas throughout the United States and Canada.
As a member of STBA’s Healthcare Design Studio, Van Horn is excited to make the transition to smaller, local projects.
“It’s great to have an opportunity to enhance the lives of the people in my own community through architecture,” said Van Horn.
After studying and working away for the past twelve years, Van Horn, a New Orleans native, was eager to return to his hometown,
