Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects Announces Robert Alan Bloomquist As New Design Professional

NEW ORLEANS – Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects (STBA) is pleased to announce the recent hire of Robert Alan Bloomquist, who will work between the STBA award-winning Healthcare and Regional Design studios as a design professional.

Within this role, Bob will assist with design, construction documents, and construction administration.

Bob earned his bachelor of design in architecture degree from the University Of Florida School Of Architecture in 1980. Having spent the last 10 years in Mid City working for VergesRome Architects, he has gained experience in many different design types and hopes to share that versatility with STBA.

As a member of the healthcare and Regional Design studio, he looks forward to developing his career and learning more about what the field can offer. “I am excited to be a part of such a progressive firm with incredibly talented people. I look forward to being an integral part of this very special team,” said Bob.

Bob is originally from Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and made the move to New Orleans after working approximately 13 years in both Destin and Tallahassee, Florida. He said, “The New Orleans area is so full of history and exciting architectural opportunities, and I am excited to be a part of it.”
