NEW ORLEANS – This month’s Sippin’ In The Courtyard on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at The Maison Dupuy Hotel, 1001 Toulouse St., from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., will benefit the Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA) Foundation that supports scholarships, educational programming, leadership development and philanthropy for breast cancer awareness.
Sippin’ attendees can purchase raffle tickets to win baskets of coveted prizes such as overnight stays, dinners, bar tabs, and other items provided by The Maison Dupuy, organizers said. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will be donated to the ZTA Foundation for its Think Pink efforts. ZTA supports the fight against breast cancer by recognizing survivors at American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks, raising awareness through the distribution of pink ribbons at NFL A Crucial Catch games, and educating through Bright Pink Brighten Up workshops.
There is no admission charge and happy hour prices for featured cocktails, and wine and small plates will be available. Complimentary parking will be based on availability.
Amanda Ducorbier with Trio will perform. Ducorbier is a New Orleans based singer/songwriter who has traveled from coast to coast recording with widely respected production houses and Grammy-nominated producers. She was a contestant on NBC’s "The Voice" season 3, and made her debut at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival 2016.
