- Brandford Marsalis – Best Improvised Jazz Solo
- Branford Marsalis Quartet – Best Jazz Instrumental Album
- Rebirth Brass Band – Best Regional Roots Album
- Wynton Marsalis – Best Contemporary Classical Composition
