AVONDALE – A Prosper Jefferson seminar hosted by Jefferson Parish Economic Development Corporation and the Jefferson Chamber will cover all aspects of starting a business in Jefferson Parish.
It will be the first of a three-part seminar series on the life cycle of business. Experts from a variety of industries will share insight and advice on business basics, including:
• Applying for an occupational license
- The permitting process in Jefferson Parish
- Zoning and how it impacts businesses
- Insuring assets, employees and business
- Various business entities
The event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Entergy office, 4809 Jefferson Highway, Jefferson. It is $5 to attend, which will cover breakfast for attendees. Register for the event in advance online. Register here.
