Second NOCHI Class Graduates

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute (NOCHI) will present the commencement ceremony for its second graduating class on Dec. 20 in the school’s McIlhenny Hall, 725 Howard Ave. James Beard Award-winning chef Donald Link will send off the Fall 2019 class with a keynote address. The commencement ceremony is only open to NOCHI students and their families and friends. Graduates of the NOCHI inaugural class will receive either a Culinary Arts Certificate or a Baking & Pastry Arts Certificate after having completed the intensive programs with a curriculum that covers 26 subjects over the course of 100 working days. Upon graduation, students will take jobs at restaurants including Brennan’s, True Food Kitchen, Justine, and Costera. NOCHI’s mission is to provide a seat at the table for all people seeking to develop their culinary passion. At NOCHI, aspiring professionals, locals and visitors from around the world can study the techniques to great cooking and the elements that have defined New Orleans’ unique brand of hospitality—right in the heart of the city.
