NEW ORLEANS – Good Work Network has partnered with SCORE, the national organization that leverages retired executives to support the growth of small businesses. The group is dedicating mentors to clients of Good Work Network in an effort to boost minority business growth and sustainability.
“As experienced executives we understand that building the right relationships is a key component to overall success. Through this partnership we hope to contribute our expertise to the continued growth of a strong business community,” said Jeremy Reed, chapter chair of SCORE Mentors New Orleans.
Good Work Network began in 2001 to help minority and women-owned businesses start, grow, and succeed through targeted coaching, technical assistance, and training. The group says it’s been especially busy during the pandemic.
“We know there are no silver bullets to equity,” said Hermione Malone, the group’s executive director. “This partnership brings expertise and another trusted voice that our clients can rely on as they continue to build and grow their businesses. We are thrilled with both the caliber and commitment of the SCORE mentors and know they will be an asset to our community of clients.”
