Scalise: House To Mark Katrina Anniversary Wednesday

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise's office says the House will mark the approaching 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina before members head home for an August break.

         The Republican from Jefferson plans to lead a series of "special order" speeches Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. CDT.

         Representatives from Louisiana and other Gulf Coast states are expected to gather on the floor to deliver commemorative remarks.
