NEW ORLEANS — Royal Sonesta New Orleans announced it will reopen to the public on Wednesday, July 1 while committing to providing a safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees. The hotel said its “Stay Safe with Sonesta” initiative exceeds all CDC, WHO and governmental requirements related to the coronavirus pandemic. The program includes enhanced cleaning and sanitizing, social distancing, and guest room safety modifications.
“We look forward to welcoming back our valued guests and our hotel family,” said General Manager Alfred L. Groos. “We hope that our enhanced safety and cleaning measures help our guests feel at ease while staying at Royal Sonesta New Orleans.”
To celebrate the hotel’s reopening, the Royal Sonesta is offering two special packages to guests. The French Quarter Fling package is available to guests that book before August 31. The package includes complimentary parking, accommodations in a Sonesta guest room, and rates from $149 per night on weekdays and weekends.
For residents of Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas, the hotel is offering its Good Neighbor Discount of 10% off and an additional $10 off. Complimentary overnight valet parking for one car is also provided. Proof of residency will be requested at check-in.
