Royal Engineers Announces Next Stage Of Business Evolution

NEW ORLEANS – Royal Engineers, a leading engineering and consulting firm in south Louisiana, announced today it has launched into its next stage of evolution as a company. Enjoying continued success, the business has grown significantly since its inception, more than 11 years ago, company reps said. With multiple office locations and 85 employees, Royal has managed and engineered more than 2 billion dollars in projects for clients throughout the Gulf South region.

         Dwayne Bernal, co-founder and President of Royal Engineers in partnership with Executive Vice President Michael Pugh, said he is pleased to see the company continue to grow and evolve. “Royal Engineers is a company that is near and dear to my heart,” Bernal said. “Having founded Royal Engineers, I’ve been intimately involved since its early beginnings and witnessed its growth to the large and successful business venture that it is today.”

         To-date, Bernal has led the Royal team, and moving forward will assume a role as Chairman. Pugh, the current Executive Vice President of Royal and co-owner, will take on the role of President in leading key management and business development while supervising technical operations of the firm. T. Mitchell “Mitch” Andrus will also take on a more senior level of leadership, assuming the role of Executive Vice President while continuing to drive regional business from the Lafayette office, which has become the second largest volume producer in the region for the firm.
