Rooter Man

When your drain isn’t working, one of the most welcome sights in the city is the familiar red Rooter Man van.

A staple in the area since 1974, Rooter Man is a full-service plumbing effort. Rooter Man’s Founder Guy Lavenia, Sr. and his wife and original President matriarch Alyce LaVenia are rightfully proud of the reputation their family has built. Guy credits that, in part, to the business’ family-owned roots. He is proud to pass his legacy to his four children. Veronica “Roni” LaVenia, CEO, Guy Lavenia, Jr., the director of Business and Development, Christine Keen, CMO and Paul LaVenia, the Director of Training and Technology, have all kept the business in the family.

For the last 45 years, since the LaVenias moved the family from New York to New Orleans, Rooter Man has brought high-level workmanship, timely responses and unmatched friendliness to the plumbing network in the area. Rooter Man is consistently on the cutting edge; they were the first in the area to use high-pressure water jets and the first to use video inspection equipment.

Rooter Man has fostered good relationships with a network of plumbing and drain companies in the area; they know if they can’t fix the problem Rooter Man Can! They also provide a myriad of other services, including under slab repairs, plumbing and gas inspections, backflow inspections and plumbing renovations. Rooter Man is stand alone business not a franchise: they are locally owned, which ensures the quality that locals have come to expect.
