NEW ORLEANS — Men In Kilts is an online fundraising event benefitting the Ronald McDonald House in New Orleans which features celebrities and members of the business, entertainment, and hospitality communities. They are competing to be crowned “King of the Kilts” at an awards ceremony and party hosted by Fox 8 anchor John Snell on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the Irish House, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The contestants for the 2016 fundraiser are Chef John Besh, Arthur Hardy, Chris Berg, Steve Brownlee, John Fitzmorris, Mark Gradwohl, Rick Murphy, Jimi Palacios, Marc Paradis (“Johnny Sketch”), Augusto “Cookie” Rojas, and Chef Raymond Toups.

Each vote is a $10 donation to the Ronald McDonald House and voting is open until 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The contestant who raises the most money by getting the most votes will be crowned “King of the Kilts” at the awards ceremony that is free and open to the public.
Passed hors d’ oeuvres will be served and drinks will be available at a cash bar.
Since 1983, the Ronald McDonald House in New Orleans has helped thousands of families in their time of greatest need by providing a home-away-from-home for families traveling to New Orleans for their sick child's critical medical treatment. The charity supports the local community by providing free immunizations to children through the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program and by awarding scholarships to eligible high school seniors.
