NEW ORLEANS — Ronald McDonald House Charities® of South Louisiana is holding a new fundraising event, the Sweet Summer Soiree, on Saturday, June 24, at Club XLIV at Champion’s Square from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The event is presented by the Whitman Family Foundation and will feature music by the Big Easy Brawlers, a premium open bar and food stations, a signature martini bar and silent auctions.

Auction items for the mobile and online auction feature sports memorabilia including a Drew Brees signed jersey, collectibles including a signed “Star Wars” poster autographed by Carrie Fisher and other cast members, fine art, fishing trips, electronics and many other items.
Dress is “cocktail chic” and there will be discounted parking available. Tickets are $150 each and sponsorships are available at $500, $3,000 and $5,000 levels.
All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana. The charity is a leader in facilitating family-centered care for pediatric patients undergoing medical treatment at New Orleans-area health care providers, reps said. The Ronald McDonald House program keeps families close together by providing housing, meals, transportation and a supportive environment for parents facing the most difficult times of their lives, they said.
