Robert Boh Inducted Into National Academy Of Construction

AUSTIN, TX – The National Academy of Construction (NAC) has elected Robert S. Boh, President and CEO of Boh Bros. Construction Co., as a new member of its 2015 class.

         He was inducted October 23 at the NAC Annual Meeting in Charleston, SC. The 2015 class includes 26 new inductees. More than 250 industry leaders were considered for the NAC’s rigorous nomination and election process.

         Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC, is a 106-year-old heavy civil construction contracting firm based in New Orleans. After earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an MBA from Tulane University, Boh joined Boh Bros. as a project manager. In 1994, he was named its third president, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Boh is a director of the Construction Industry Roundtable and a past president of the Louisiana AGC. He is a member of the Business Council of New Orleans and is a past chair of the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. ENR magazine recognized him as a “Top 25 Newsmaker” of 2006. In 2008, he received The Moles’ Non-Member Award. He is a trustee of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, and is a member of both the Ochsner Foundation Board and the New Orleans Recreation Foundation Board. He is a past chair of the Southeast Louisiana Council of the Boy Scouts of America as well as several local schools.

         The National Academy of Construction, established in 1999, is an organization of industry leaders – construction users, engineers, designers, constructors, consultants, attorneys, sureties and academics – who have made outstanding contributions to the engineering and construction industry.
