KENNER – Rivertown Theaters is putting some extra “Ho, Ho, Ho” in the holidays with Ricky Graham & Company’s production of “Steel Poinsettias.”
This brand new magnolia-scented Christmas show at Rivertown Theaters, 325 Minor St. (parallel to Williams Blvd.) in Kenner, features Mrs. Sandy Claus doing hair and talking trash with Wheezy Grincheaux, Herbelle The Elf, Mrs. Scratchit and Cherie Snowman.
Written by and starring the creators of “Ditzyland,” Ricky Graham, Varla Jean Merman, Sean Patterson and Jefferson Turner, “Steel Poinsettias” is an adult antidote to the holiday season.
Opening week begins Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.
The show continues Dec. 9 and 10 at 8:00 p.m. and Dec. 11 at 2:00 p.m. and Dec. 16 and 17 at 8:00 p.m. and Dec. 18. at 2:00 p.m.
General admission is $30 and seating is on a first come, first served basis. Doors open for seating 30 minutes prior to show time.
Free parking is available on the streets around the theater.
