Ricchiuti to Speak at Urban Heroes 2020 Awards Luncheon

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans-based nonprofit Urban Conservancy will host the Urban Heroes 2020 Awards Luncheon at noon Friday, March 6 at the Walnut Room in the Lakefront Airport. This year’s honorees are landscape architect Joseph O. Evans III, retired Chief Judge of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Calvin Johnson, PJ’s Coffee & Tea Company founder Phyllis Jordan, equitable land use expert Jenga Mwendo and Son of a Saint founder Bivian “Sonny” Lee III. Urban Conservancy said these honorees “epitomize our core values and have been instrumental in shaping our vision for a vibrant and resilient New Orleans.”

The awards presentation will follow a keynote address by Peter Ricchiuti, Burkenroad Reports founder and director.
