NEW ORLEANS — Registration is now open for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital and business support services. Through the program, participants gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing, and employee management that can immediately be put into action. In addition, they receive the tools and professional support necessary to develop a strategic and customized growth plan that will take their business to the next level.
The program currently operates in 15 markets in the U.S. through a network of more than 90 academic and community partners. Over 5,800 small business owners have participated, and the program continues to expand on a city-by-city basis.
Delgado Community College will host the program. Selected applicants will gain access to a world-class business education and connections to a professional support network at no cost.

Participants will receive one-on-one business advising and the opportunity to learn from other like-minded business owners. The program provides this expert advice and technical assistance through partnerships with national and local business organizations, professional services firms and the people of Goldman Sachs.
