NEW ORLEANS — The International WorkBoat Show announced that the show floor is almost fully sold out for its event taking place Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. More than 950 exhibiting companies from the commercial marine industry will present products, solutions and technologies in more than 185,000 square feet of exhibit space. Attendee registration for the event is currently trending 40% over the prior year’s event with one day left until the event.
This year the International WorkBoat Show welcomes Underwater Intervention, a trade show and conference serving the subsea and marine technology market, in the form of a dedicated pavilion within the contiguous show floor.
“The addition of Underwater Intervention to the WorkBoat Show is incredibly exciting,” said Bob Callahan, a WorkBoat Show executive. “We are so thrilled to be able to bring the latest and greatest in groundbreaking maritime technology and marine autonomous systems in the subsea and ROV space to our customers. With this partnership, WorkBoat is even more of a one-stop shop for all of your commercial marine needs both above and below the water.”
The WorkBoat International Delegation, a group of over 100 dedicated buyers, recruited with the help of the U.S. Commerce Service, will be touring the show, attending the conference, and meeting with exhibitors to make maritime purchases for organizations within their home countries.
The 20th annual Submarine Symposium and the “Sub Hub” will be held at the show for the first time in 2023. The symposium brings together submarine professionals from around the world to discuss the state of the industry. Onsite visitors will also be able to view a group of submarines on display on the show floor in the Sub Hub in the Underwater Intervention Pavilion.
