KENNER — The Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) celebrated the ribbon cutting of a sign and print shop headquarters on Wednesday alongside local officials and business representatives. Quattro Signs & Graphics used JEDCO’s SBA 504 Loan Program to build a new state-of-the-art facility in Kenner.
Founded in 2006 by Marlon and Maria Cespedes, Quattro Signs & Graphics began as a small screen printing business. Marlon started operating the company out of the back of his father’s garage after Hurricane Katrina. With a degree in graphic design, he was able to branch out, expanding the business to include vehicle wraps, electric signs, business cards and more. As demand for the business grew, Quattro Signs & Graphics leased its first major facility in Kenner in 2009 before moving to a new facility in Marrero in 2018.
Today, Quattro Signs & Graphics offers a one-stop shop for all design, large-format print, branding and signage needs. Quattro’s business has grown so much that they needed a second shop to better serve their client base. Marlon and Maria identified a high-profile location right off of Williams Boulevard in Kenner, which afforded them more space and the ability to own their building. JEDCO partnered with OnPath Federal Credit Union to finance the $660,000 project through the SBA 504 Loan Program. The loan covered purchase of land and equipment as well as building construction for the new headquarters. The SBA 504 Loan Program is specifically designed to support small business owners through fixed-rate financing and borrower equity as low as 10%.
“Through the SBA 504 Loan Program, we are able to provide business owners with the financing needed to accomplish their business goals, achieve their visions for the future, and open their doors,” says JEDCO President & CEO Jerry Bologna. “It is with great pride that we celebrate the ribbon cutting for Quattro Signs & Graphics, a growing business that has chosen to stay headquartered in Jefferson Parish. We look forward to supporting the business as they continue to grow and thrive in our community. Furthermore, this is an example of the excellent work that our JEDCO finance team consistently delivers. This project is one of the reasons why JEDCO was the top performing certified development corporation in Louisiana this year.”
The new Quattro Signs & Graphics headquarters is located at 4301 Williams Blvd. in Kenner. The business’ West Bank location will remain in operation. That shop is at 5041 Lapalco Blvd, Unit C-4, in Marrero.
