NEW ORLEANS — QDS Systems, a collaborative robotic systems integrator with more than 25 years in process control and drive system integration, today announced the hiring of Chad Goutierrez as sales manager. Goutierrez brings extensive sales expertise practiced across a variety of emerging tech companies to his new role, where he is charged with building the sales team as well as implementing a sales structure for the first time in the company’s history.

Goutierrez’s experience encompasses all aspects of operations, business development and administration, from controlling costs and maximizing revenues to harnessing team strengths to improve company-wide performance. In his most recent role, he served as a self-employed consultant, advising exploration and production companies with direction on unfamiliar product lines, as well as a technical advisor to start-up companies. Prior to that, Goutierrez served as an account management and business development leader for one of the world’s largest international oil and gas service companies, establishing policies and procedures to achieve new market opportunities.
