NEW ORLEANS — Dogtopia, the nation’s leading dog daycare, boarding and spa facility, is opening its newest location in New Orleans on Saturday, May 19. Located at 9501 Airline Hwy, this location marks the second Dogtopia in Louisiana.
Dogtopia of New Orleans is owned and operated by local husband-and-wife team Joe and Lisa Thornhill and their daughters Maddy and Katie Thornhill. The Thornhills invite pet parents and the community to experience Dogtopia first hand when it opens its doors. In celebration of the new opening, Dogtopia of New Orleans will be offering an exclusive founders’ pass promotion package now through May 19, including two weeks of unlimited daycare, a 3-day pass and a chance to win a year of daycare.
Offering personalized care for New Orleans pups in a fun, safe and comfortable environment, Dogtopia sets the industry standard among dog daycare’s three key benefits: education, exercise and socialization. To foster complete transparency, pet parents are walked through a detailed facility tour while their furry children are evaluated for Dogtopia’s open-play environment. Community pups will enjoy an open layout where each playroom offers fun for dogs of similar size and temperament. Each playroom also has compressed rubber flooring to ease joints, prevent slipping and promote safer play, as well as a powerful HVAC system funneling air out of the building to ensure clean, fresh air. Every area is cleaned solely with dog-safe products. Dogtopia’s fees are all-inclusive – meals are prepared according to each pet parent’s direction.
