Project Homecoming To Host Holiday Party

NEW ORLEANS – Celebrate those coming home for the holidays with Protect Homecoming on Friday, December 4, 2015, at the People's Health New Orleans Jazz Market, 1436 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., at 8:00 p.m.

Project Homecoming is a faith-based community development organization building resilient neighborhoods in the greater New Orleans area, committed to facilitating a culture of care in targeted communities through safe, durable, affordable and environmentally sensitive construction, community driven partnerships, service and fellowship.

Project Homecoming has spent the last decade working to make it possible for New Orleanians to come back home. It speaks to the scope of the disaster of Hurricane Katrina that they're still at this work a decade later, but they aren't letting that slow them down, or lose their resolve to make sure former city residents have a home to come back to.
