MANDEVILLE, LA – The Professional Women of St. Tammany will present their premier fundraiser of the summer, “Putting on the Glitz,” on Saturday, Aug. 12, at The Greystone, 935 Clausel St., in Mandeville, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
The event will celebrate vintage Hollywood while raising money for the organization’s ongoing program to award scholarships to deserving women in St. Tammany who are continuing their education. Since 2009, more than $130,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
At Putting On The Glitz, experience the glamorous 1940s era with Big Band music, dancing, dinner, a cash bar, a costume contest (dressing up is encouraged) casino style gaming and a silent auction.
