NEW ORLEANS – Republican presidential hopefuls Dr. Ben Carson, Gov. Rick Perry, Sen. Marco Rubio and Hon. Rick Santorum are all scheduled to appear at The National Right To Life Convention that will take place from July 9-11, 2015, at the New Orleans Marriott, 555 Canal St.
They are confirmed to participate in a Friday, July 10, general session called “Speaking Out and Winning for Life in 2016 – A Presidential Candidate Forum.”
Other featured events will include a Festival of Life Reception on Thursday, July 9, with comedian and Cajun Ambassador Jonathan Perry, music from the Soul Heirs Brass Band and remarks from Gov. Bobby Jindal, and a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, July 11, featuring Lisa, Alan, and Miss Kay Robertson from “Duck Dynasty,” Sen. David Vitter and liturgical music performer Kitty Cleveland.
The convention will also host a “Be The Voice: Pro-Life Youth & College Night” on Friday, July 10, from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. featuring pro-life speaker and abortion survivor Melissa Ohden.
Additional speakers, including Archbishop Gregory Aymond, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy and Political Consultant Mary Matalin, are scheduled to participate in events and workshops focusing on Planned Parenthood, stem cells, the “war on women,” adoption, social media, breast cancer, eugenics, The United Nations and more.
