We were proud to represent the 2nd largest tonnage port in the Western Hemisphere!

Port Grants Economic Roundtable Seminar
In mid -December, PortSL in conjunction with LA DOTD and the Ports of Greater Baton Rouge, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, and New Orleans, hosted a two-day seminar focused on port grants economics and the use of benefit-cost analysis for various grant programs. The panel of experts included reps from MARAD, NOAA, USACE, and US DOT.

During the December 2023 Commission Meeting, retiring Accounting Specialist Cleo Wainwright was recognized for her 28 years of service. She is now enjoying her retirement.
