(press release) — The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children (LPIC) is proud to announce the appointment of its board’s new leadership team, a dynamic group of professionals committed to advancing policies that improve the outcomes of young children and families across Louisiana. These individuals bring a wealth of expertise and passion for increased high-quality early childhood education for children across the state.
Leading the board is Jonald Walker, who will serve as the board president. Walker brings a wealth of financial expertise and deep experience in organizational development.
Supporting Walker in leadership are:
- Sharonda Williams, JD, Board Vice President – A respected legal expert, Williams brings invaluable insight and legal experience to LPIC’s strategic vision.
- Drew Chapman, CPA, Board Treasurer – Chapman’s extensive background in finance ensures strong fiscal stewardship as LPIC continues to grow.
- Kristen Brown, Board Secretary – Brown offers a wealth of experience in civic engagement, helping guide LPIC’s stakeholder relationships.
