NEW ORLEANS – PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans revealed its new brand identity to its family of franchisees and partners at the PJ’s roasting facility in New Orleans earlier this year, featuring the company’s first logo change in over a decade.
PJ’s will roll out the logo and brand identity Friday, Aug. 18, at its new location’s grand opening, at 2140 Magazine St., at an 11:00 a.m. ribbon cutting celebration.
This location, on the corner of Jackson Avenue and Magazine Street, will be multi-unit franchisees Aubry and LaCour Miller’s second PJ's Coffee shop. The Miller's are also the owners of another PJ's location at 5432 Magazine St., and they will be opening their third location in Zachary, Louisiana in 2018.
The new Magazine Street location will feature a selection of new breakfast sandwiches and Nitro-infused coffee from the tap, along with other PJ's favorites including PJ's world-famous Original Cold Brew Iced Coffee and their top 1 percent whole bean Arabica coffees from around the world, roasted freshly off the boat, every day in New Orleans' very own Faubourg Marigny.
PJ's executives and representatives from the PJ's family will be at the grand opening, as well as New Orleans City Councilmember Susan Guidry.
The new PJ’s design, embodies the true essence of the company, reps said, always creating a quality cup of coffee, showing hospitality towards each guest and staying true to the company’s roots with each PJ’s location, from New Orleans to Vietnam and around the world.
The logo design features a deep purple tone and celebrates both craftsmanship and hospitality through the letter “J” in PJ’s, which is tightly hugging a coffee mug. Reps said the rich purple color embodies the soul of Louisiana.
Samples of PJ’s new Nitro-Brew coffee will be available for all guests, along with PJ’s Signature Granita and iced coffees. There will be free PJ's Coffee giveaways and a raffle to win free coffee for one month.
The Sophie B. Wright Charter School Brass Band will be performing at the grand opening event that is open to the public.
