NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday, Sept. 9, DTB’s owner and Chef Carl Schaubhut and his mighty Hoggystyle team will partner with Urban South Brewery and Underwood Wine from Union Wine Co. for their mid-year fundraiser at Dos Jefes, 5535 Tchoupitoulas St., from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The epic night, aptly titled Pigs, Pearls and Pints, will be filled with pork, oysters, beer, wine and live music with proceeds from the evening supporting Hogs for the Cause.
The menu will include:
• Raw oysters with Carolina pepper vinegar mignonette and bacon-saltine crumble
• Pulled pork and crispy oyster tacos with fennel slaw and Alabama white BBQ sauce
• Boudin stuffed charbroiled oysters with pepper jack and greens
• Green tomato Bloody Mary shooters with pork rinds and pickled watermelon
