LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — PHI Inc. (PHII) on Thursday reported a loss of $7.1 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Lafayette, Louisiana-based company said it had a loss of 45 cents.

The helicopter transportation company serving the oil and gas industry posted revenue of $169.2 million in the period.
PHI Inc. shares have decreased 29 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $8.30, a drop of 22 percent in the last 12 months.
