Phelps Dunbar Promotes 2 To Partner, 1 To Counsel In New Orleans Office

NEW ORLEANS – Phelps Dunbar announced that Bart C. Bacigalupi has been promoted to partner in the business practice group, while Colin B. Cambre has been promoted to partner in the admiralty practice group.

         MaryJo L. Roberts has also been named counsel in the labor and employment practice group.

• Bart C. Bacigalupi – Bacigalupi has practiced law with Phelps Dunbar’s New Orleans office since receiving his J.D. in 2007 and practices in the areas of general business matters, commercial finance, real estate, banking, leasing and other commercial matters. He represents clients in negotiating and drafting of a variety of general business contracts, real estate lease and purchase documents, service and procurement agreements, acquisition agreements, and organizational/governance documents. Commercial finance transactions include vessel finance, real estate finance, interest rate hedge matters, and equipment and inventory finance, representing both borrowers and lenders.

• Colin B. Cambre – Cambre has practiced law with Phelps Dunbar’s New Orleans office since receiving his J.D. in 2007 and concentrates in the area of admiralty law. He specializes in the areas of maritime personal injury defense and litigation, Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims, and maritime collision and property damage defense and litigation.
