NEW ORLEANS — Dr. Mark Peters, CEO at East Jefferson General Hospital, is serving as chairman of the American Heart Association’s 2016 New Orleans Heart Walk, which will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2016, at Champions Square.
Dr. Peters and local executives will lead Greater New Orleans residents, survivors and businesses on the road to reduce disability and death from the country’s No. 1 leading cause of death – heart disease.
The Heart Walk is held to raise funds to support the American Heart Association and to inspire people to take that first step in improving cardiovascular health or celebrate successes in improving their health.
