NEW ORLEANS – Peter Mayer announced the addition of Effie Award-winning Candace Graham to lead the agency’s marketing and new business development team as vice president, marketing director.
Graham brings a strong background and proven track record to the firm in both business development and strategic marketing and operations through her 25 years of experience working with national and international clients, reps said.
“Peter Mayer has such a strong reputation for helping businesses grow and flourish, and the prospect of joining the agency’s team was too enticing to pass,” Graham said. “I think everyone should know how Peter Mayer can help build their business, and I’m going to focus on attracting new, nationwide clients with our culture-focused strategic approach. The agency has an incredible depth of knowledge in many travel sectors as well as in food & beverage. I can’t wait to get started!”
A proud Purdue alum, Graham has led forward thinking marketing initiatives for many well-known brands across such industries as travel, financial, healthcare, technology and retail. From the launch of the USRobotics branding campaign with The Leap Partnership in Chicago to the international “BE DIRECT” branding campaign for Dell under J. Walter Thompson, her work experience includes global account management.
In 2005, Campbell Ewald approached Graham to help diversify their non-auto account base in Detroit. She ultimately drove pitches and wins for the agency to include the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, U.S. Navy, Ghirardelli, Chicken of the Sea, Kaiser Permanente, Olympic Paints and, most notably, Alltel Wireless, for which she garnered two Effie Awards for marketing effectiveness on aggressive, highly integrated initiatives.
Most recently, she was marketing consultant and owner of the Epic Win Group in Chicago.
“We are extremely excited to bring Candace on board,” said Peter Mayer president, Mark Mayer. “From her intuitive business development sense and extensive industry experience to her can-do, enthusiastic attitude she was a natural fit for our agency. We are happy we persuaded Candace to move south,”
