METAIRIE, La. — Peristyle Residences is pleased to announce the development of two residential assisted living homes in Old Metairie. These residences will be the largest homes of the residential model in the New Orleans MSA, and the only assisted living community situated in Old Metairie.
The anticipated opening will be in January 2019. Tours and reservations will begin during Thanksgiving week 2018. Each residence will serve up to nine residents offering the largest private bedrooms in this market. The homes will include spacious communal areas such as a chapel, multiple living rooms, sun room, dining room, and a hair salon. Design and décor elements by Sheri Daigle of SD Design LLC.
Peristyle Residences provide 24 hour care and supervision to seniors who may no longer be able to safely live at home, but who do not require or prefer more institutional settings. Peristyle Residences team of professional caregivers includes a Registered Nurse who serves as the Wellness Coordinator, an RN and LPNs who manage Medication Administration, Music Therapy Department, and an Activities Coordinator.
Each home is served by a dedicated House Manager and their caring team of CNAs. All caregivers undergo background checks and are trained to serve residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementia care needs. Peristyle Residences offers comfort, compassion, and choice as they fulfill the special needs and requirements that are unique to seniors.
