Parade Of Homes Begins This Weekend Featuring 25 New Homes Across The Metro Area

NEW ORLEANS – The annual Parade of Homes, presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) takes place this Saturday and Sunday, June 3 – 4 and Saturday and Sunday June 10 -11, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

         Event organizers said the event is the region’s best opportunity to tour new homes and see the latest in building techniques and industry trends.

         Attendees to this year’s Parade of Homes will see newly-built, energy-efficient homes featuring the latest design trends, including smart homes, NanaWalls that lead to a better blending of the inside and outside, quartz countertops, home theaters, outdoor kitchens, shiplap, subway tiles and more, organizers said. Visitors can also get ideas for renovating an existing home and get expert advice from the area’s trusted builders, organizers said.

         HBAGNO is a professional organization representing the residential housing industry, serving its members and the community since 1941. Membership is composed of approximately 1,000 dues-paying home builders, developers, remodelers and associated businesses. The HBA serves the parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. John the Baptist, St. Charles and St. James.

         The 2017 Parade of Homes is free and open to the public and features 25 homes in neighborhoods across Greater New Orleans including Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes:
