Palmisano and Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans Announce Partnership

NEW ORLEANS – Palmisano, commercial and civil construction company, and Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans recently their new partnership during the grand opening of a new student-run storefront at Junior Achievement’s BizTown on Monday. Details were shared in a press release.

JA BizTown is a kid-city that combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. This popular program allows fifth and sixth grade students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. The program helps students connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world.

“Being deeply embedded in our community is part of Palmisano’s DNA,” said Wesley Palmisano, president and CEO of Palmisano. “Our mission is to Build a Better World. Charitable initiatives and community partnerships with organizations like JA BizTown make up the heart and soul of our work. We are excited for school children to visit the Palmisano shop at BizTown so they can learn more about the construction industry and all of the great experiences it can afford them.”
