NEW ORLEANS – Orleans Coffee, a New Orleans-based roaster, has opened its second retail location in New Orleans in the heart of Central City at 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
“We hope everyone enjoys our freshly roasted coffee as well as the relaxed atmosphere as much as we do,” says Bob Arceneaux, Orleans Coffee president. “Our company loves being part of the neighborhood and is happy to be serving some of the finest specialty coffees in the city.”
Arceneaux and his team opened Orleans Coffee Espresso Bar at 3445 Prytania St. in November 2016. It is located across the street from Touro Infirmary. The espresso bar serves coffees and signature house beverages to neighborhood residents, employees, patients and visitors to the medical district.
The new coffee house shares space with the Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center and serves coffee and espresso beverages, a variety of teas and other signature house beverages and pastries from local bakeries.
Orleans Coffee is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Orleans Coffee was founded in 1985 as one of the first specialty coffee companies to offer their products via mail order and website. The brand specializes in small batch roasting high quality coffees, reps said.
In June 2017 Orleans Coffee won the Louisiana Economic Development Lantern Award, demonstrating excellence in manufacturing and outstanding service to its community through the involvement of their businesses and employees.
Orleans Coffee has an extensive offering of fine coffees from around the world as well as a wide variety of loose teas. They are the first and only certified organic roaster in the area, dating back to 2004, and provide coffee, brewing equipment and service to independently owned coffee shops and cafes across the Gulf South and throughout the U.S.
Orleans Coffee reps say the company also contributes to the local community through donations and acts of service.
