NEW ORLEANS – In celebration of Tujague’s 160th Anniversary, the French Quarter dining institution will host a one-night-only dinner prepared by renowned Chef John Besh.
On Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Tujague’s, 823 Decatur St., guests can enjoy a five course meal with wine pairings to benefit the John Besh Foundation.
According to Tujague’s owner Mark Latter, “As we wrap up our anniversary dinner series, we are thrilled to have Chef John Besh commemorate this milestone with us. He’s an icon in New Orleans and we can’t wait to welcome him to the Tujague’s kitchen.”
Priced at $115 per person (all-inclusive) the evening will start at 7:00 p.m. with a champagne reception. In addition, guests will also be able to purchase signed/ personalized cookbooks from Besh, as well as signed Tujague’s cookbooks from culinary historian and author Poppy Tooker, who will be onsite for the festivities.

Established in 2011, the John Besh Foundation provides scholarships, grants and loans to individuals in the New Orleans community with the passion, creativity and knowledge to enact change in New Orleans and Louisiana. Chef John Besh created the John Besh Foundation in order to better serve his community by bringing a focus to his efforts in New Orleans.
