OLHCC Nursing Students Named To LASN Board

NEW ORLEANS – Our Lady of Holy Cross College (OLHCC) announced three of its student nurses have been named to the board of the Louisiana Association of Student Nurses at its 61st Annual State Conference.

 

• Angelica Walton, a junior nursing student, was elected to the office of President.

• Maggie Gatlin, a junior nursing student, was elected to the office of Parliamentarian.

 

         Two of OLHCC’s junior nursing students, Vanyti A. Rodriguez and Amber L. Bladsacker, were presented scholarship awards at the annual gathering as well.

         The OLHCC Student Nursing Association also won the state’s Community Health Project Award

         A fully accredited Catholic liberal arts college on the West Bank of New Orleans, OLHCC offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs to 1,100 students.
