COVINGTON, — From the OffenderWatch communications department:
Despite the current employment crisis, OffenderWatch is currently hiring new employees to increase support for law enforcement and better protect families online. OffenderWatch’s support includes efforts to help protect children from sex offenders online—especially at a time when kids across the country are spending more time online at home, and predators are taking advantage. In fact, the FBI issued warnings last week about the potential increase in sexual exploitation of children online.
To better support local, state and federal agencies, OffenderWatch is currently hiring at least three new positions to assist with the growing need of remote support. As the preeminent partner of more than 3,500 law enforcement agencies, OffenderWatch is increasing its capacity to match the needs of agencies during this epidemic.
Over the last two decades, OffenderWatch has created leading technologies to streamline and modernize law enforcement operations, making it easier for officers to update offender records in the field or sex offenders to update basic info online. OffenderWatch also recently developed a new app, OffenderWatch Safe Virtual Neighborhood, which notifies families of sex offender contact online. The company’s groundbreaking tools make it convenient and easy for both the community and law enforcement to improve safety related to registered sex offenders.
“Our chief concern is keeping kids and communities safer, and one way we can do that is by helping our law enforcement leaders easily maintain their registries. Our technology helps save administrative time, which gives law enforcement more time to work on-the-ground in neighborhoods,” said Mike Cormaci, president of OffenderWatch.
To help agencies adapt to the current public health crisis and new work reality, OffenderWatch is immediately recruiting for talented individuals to assist in its growth.
